My Clinical Experience

I begun my career in counselling in 1993 and until 2003 I worked with Lifeline Sydney in telephone counselling, trainee supervision and group facilitation, as well as face-to-face counselling and client assessment and referral.

 

From 2000 to 2003 I worked for the Lighthouse project in the counselling and support for people affected by schizophrenia, and their carers.

 

In 2003, I have co-founded and established with a group of counsellors and psychotherapists the Mandala Community Counselling Service a non-religious, non-political organisation and I contribute to the Mandala operations as clinical counsellor and psychotherapist and I have been serving in the chairman position form 2003 till 2008. By charity donations and with the support of the Exodus Foundation, and the Sisters Of Charity Foundation we provide free counselling in various Sydney locations for people with no financial means to access private services. I am also a certified counsellor with the National Carers Counselling Program NSW.

 

My experience in consulting for organisations includes working with medical insurance services in Grief and Trauma Counselling, with community agencies in facilitating groups counselling on drug and alcohol abuse, with investigative liability assessors in Critical Interventions-Debriefing and with corporate training organisations in Employee Assistance Programs.  

 

I started my private practice in 1999 opening my consultation rooms in Sydney CBD offering my service to individuals and couples.
